Well here I am on the last leg of my journey! I leave for the UK tomorrow my time seems to have flown by but looking forward to coming home.
Central Delhi is a bit like a building that needs a lot of work on it, they are trying to get everything ready for the Commonwealth games but believe me there is a lot to do. Staying in a really posh hotel which I got at knock down prices but it is in the process of being rebuilt and let’s just say it could be better! I really like Delhi and it is a shame to see it looking this way, it is one of my favourite cities, let’s hope they can get it all done in time so that the world can see it at its best.
I am seeing some really important people today, they live in south Delhi and they are the Rafa boys. Many of you will know them and the poor hand that life has dealt them but they always make me feel better and I could do with a bit of that. They are a privilege to be with and I do hope that the relationship that CHILD's Trust has with them can continue for a long time.
Had great time with Simon and Liz yesterday, Simon is really doing well on the business side of MDN Fusion here in India.
Well this may be the last blog on this trip, looking forward to the welcome at the airport, I have already checked in!!!

Delayed in Dehra dun
Dehradun seems to be having all of India's monsoon this year and so I am writing this blog from Dehradun airport as I have an hour to spare. Lots of rain this am and so Jet airways can't get their flight in so I have been transferred onto an Air India flight which leaves later this afternoon.
India is fascinating when these things happen, everything appears to be in total confusion but it works, maybe something to learn here!
It has been a great time in Dehradun seeing all of Child's Trust's main contacts and some long term friends. Well only three days to go and still loads of people to see and even more great Indian food.
My flight has just arrived so that is good, it just needs to be able to take off again in about 20 mins. I am praying hard believe me! Dehradun is a great place but I need to get to Delhi.

Deluge in Dehra dun
Wow what a difference a day makes, sunny and dry in Orissa and Delhi and yesterday in Dehra Dun. Last night made up for it with a bucket full every second for hours on end, ladies you would not appreciate your hair if you were out in it.
Had a great day with Devraj and Saroj and the family yesterday, I took all the children out to the local shop and bought some crisps (or chips as they call them), picked up Sharon's bangles, I am feeling like a personal shopper at the moment!
Well today I am spending time with Dogra, Devraj and later tonight JP Singh; really looking forward to catching up with Dogra as I have not seen him since Feb and things are difficulty where he lives at the moment. Back to Delhi in the morning

Olright in Orissa
Orissa is great, I have only been here for 17 hours and already I have seen some wonderful people and had some great food. I even managed to sleep well last night, that was until Kingfisher decided to tell me (via a text) at 5.30am that I need to be at the airport tonight at least 40 mins ahead of the flight departure, thanks Kingfisher sometime during the day will be fine next time!
Well today will be one of the highlights of the trip, I will get to spend some time with the boys at the Shanti Bhavan project. I will probably have some lunch with them and maybe get the opportunity to ride one of the bikes that CHILD;s Trust has given them. I also have a meeting with some of the trustees and the builder who will take responsibility for building the new home, we have been waiting 3 years for this to happen, wow!
Feeling fine, refreshed after a good nights sleep and raring to go.

Arrived
Had a great flight into Delhi's new International airport, very posh! The flight was half empty to plenty of room to relax and work during the 9 hours. Managed to get about 4-5 hours sleep and a tasty breakfast. Staying at a great hotel just outside the airport and just about to leave for. Orissa.
The weather is good here in Delhi, no rain but I am expecting it to be a little different in Orissa!
Have a good day

2 days to go
This has crept up fast, seems like so much needs to be done. I am heading into Orissa on Friday in the middle of the monsoon so watch this space.
Managed to get a day flight on Thursday to Delhi so the chance to get some work done and maybe watch a movie!
So much to do but getting excited about being back in my second home!
